Wikipedia defines GRATITUDE as : Gratitudethankfulness, or gratefulness, derive from the Latin word gratus ‘pleasing, thankful’, is a feeling of appreciation felt by and/or similar positive response shown by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, favors, of other types of generosity, towards the giver of such gifts

My Story

5 Years back I always used to look at the half-empty glass. All my attention was on the lacks of my life. There was one thing or another that used to make me feel low, used to make me feel that I am not enough.

But the Attitude of Gratitude changed my perspective towards life completely. Now I am completely a changed person, who can see positive in most of the life situation.

How Gratitude can change our Life... I will dedicate this article to a guy Aman Joshi. Somehow I was motivated to inspire him to maintain a journal on a daily basis, of things he is grateful for in his life. Initially, he was skeptical that how maintaining this journal can help him to achieve his goals of life. Today it’s been more than one week and he is doing good. And the best part is he has started enjoying the process.

So I decided to inspire others too, to adopt the Attitude of Gratitude.

Let’s see how Gratitude actually changes our life❤👇

💫 Gratitude Changes our Mindset.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow”
– Melody Beattie,

Gratitude changes our mindset from negative to positive. It brings our attention to positive things in life.

When gratitude becomes our default setting we tend to see something positive even in unwanted/ tough life situations. Small small things like fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink (which we used to take for granted before) starts to make more sense to us. We start valuing small things in life.

The Attitude of Gratitude becomes a part of our life when we start to acknowledge our surroundings, like while morning walk appreciating the beautiful flowers in the park or green plants and trees. This practice alone has the potential to change our heart and life immensely.

💫 Law Of Attraction.

When we acquire a positive mindset with the attitude of gratitude, we send the same vibrations in the universe. So we tend to attract the same vibration of positive in our life. The events that will bring more happiness and joy will occur more in our life. And even if there seems to have any problem or unwanted life situation, one will have its solution with ease. Life will be much more pleasurable and fun to live.

Releases Our Fears.

We can not be grateful and fearful at the same time. The attitude of Gratitude strengthens our Faith. It generates a belief in us that no matter what situation might occur in life, ALL WILL END UP WELL.

Most of our fears usually arise for our future self. All the what-ifs fade away from life when we have faith. Faith in God. Faith in our self. We start to focus on what we have rather than what we don’t have or what we have lost. We tend to focus more on NOW, which is always perfect.

💫 Brings More Happiness

Being Grateful for little things in life, brings more and more Happiness in life. And the Law of Attraction starts to attract and manifest more of a happier and contented life.

Gratitude raises our Vibration and changes our perspective on life completely. We get to understand life and life situations better which makes us less worry for the future. We start to enjoy the Now moment.

When we are aligned with our true self, everything seems to fall in the right place.

Health Benefits

When we are in Happy Mode, we are far away from diseases.  The disease is nothing but dis+ease (not at ease with life). So Attitude of Gratitude helps us to keep 100% Healthy.

Since we are at peace, we have good sleep. We feel much more energetic. We get more efficient at the work place. So better opportunities in career, which further results in more Happiness.

So Attitude of Gratitude 👉 Happiness Forever 😍

💫 Happy Hormones Released

An attitude of gratitude upgrades your hormones, from oxytocin to cortisol, and your neurotransmitters, including dopamine and serotonin. Recent data suggests gratitude provides behavioral and psychological “glue”—oxytocin is associated with promoting the glue that connects adults in meaningful relationships. Not surprisingly, gratitude increases blood flow and activity in the hypothalamus, the master gland that controls hormones.

💫 Research on Gratitude

Two psychologists, Dr. Robert A. Emmons of the University of California, Davis, and Dr. Michael E. McCullough of the University of Miami, have done much of the research on gratitude. In research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.

People feel and express gratitude in multiple ways. They can apply it to the past (retrieving positive memories and being thankful for elements of childhood or past blessings), the present (not taking good fortune for granted as it comes), and the future (maintaining a hopeful and optimistic attitude). Regardless of the inherent or current level of someone’s gratitude, it’s a quality that individuals can successfully cultivate further.
